A&M is the visionary label starting by Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss that became one of the most successful independent records labels in the world. Artists include: Procol Harum, Supertramp, Peter Frampton, Free, the Police, Joe Jackson, the Neville Brothers, Captain Beefheart, John Haitt, Cat Stevens and the Tijuana Brass.
The project was to create something that had never been done before. Along with Larry Hamby, the Digital Cowboys produced the very first commercially released Enhanced CD for the band Monster Magnet and A&M. This disc was the first to include a music video along with photos of the band and additional info.
Enhanced CD Audio discs became standard in the industry, prior to the development of the DVD and contained additional features such as interview with the artists, music videos, fan clubs, online connections, online merchandise stores, interactive sheet music and MIDI files, and other options.
